What determinations can the Tribunal make?

At the conclusion of the hearing the Tribunal can confirm, vary or revoke the decision to transfer the patient.

To confirm the decision means the patient is transferred to the new facility.

To vary the decision would mean that the Tribunal may agree that a transfer is appropriate but may disagree when it is to take place, or to which facility the patient should be transferred.

To revoke the decision means that the patient will not be transferred.
