What information do you need to provide to the Tribunal prior to a hearing?

Prior to the commencement of a hearing the Tribunal is to be provided with a medical report. See our sample report for more information.

A copy of the report is to be read by or to the patient at least 48 hours prior to the hearing unless:

If one or more of the above criteria are filled and you wish the Tribunal in making its decision to take account of the information you have not disclosed, you should apply to the Tribunal to withhold the information.

If the Tribunal does not receive an application to withhold information all information provided to the Tribunal, including the complete contents of the report, will be revealed to the patient.
